Wanderings & Witterings

Back blip

What to do when it's nearly nine o'clock in the evening and one hasn't take a photo for blipping? Thankfully, that decision is made easier in the Scottish summer when the nights are so long. In this case, it was a quick drive through (quick in the sense that it is a short distance, rather than an excess of speed) to Kilsyth and a late evening walk around the Sensory Garden at Auchinstarry.

This lovely wee garden, near Auchinstarry Marina, has been beautifully restored by a group of volunteers and now looks better than ever. Unfortunately, and not for the first time this summer, the rain of the afternoon had continued into the evening and the colours weren't quite their best. Nonetheless, it was still a pretty sight and a relaxing walk around.
