Typhoon Hato

We battened down the hatches as much as we could. Typhoon Hato hit Hong Kong directly. T10 was hoisted around 9am and then it was pretty full on for about 2 hours. Water seeped through the front windows. Martin and I were armed with towels.

There was some damage around DB as can be seen in the extra photos.

One of my favourite trees was uprooted at the ferry pier. I really hope they can 'repair' it.

We did walk down to see the damage once the rains had quietened down. It was all a bit sad. I'm grateful that noone was harmed and that Hong Kong is a well developed city that is able to cope with these powerful storms.

Today, I am going to take part in the Wild Wednesday challenge as today's weather sure was wild!
