View From Bodega Head

Northern California coast. A nice hike after an oyster po'boy at the local fish house. Not too windy, although pretty overcast most of the day. Tons of dragonflies whirling along the path, but never alighting. Never. A tiny orange butterfly played tag with us, a furry little rodent scurried into the weeds, and a yellow fuzzy caterpillar let me pick it up for a couple photos. That was it for wildlife, although there was plenty of poop on the trail to let us know we definitely were not alone out there.

We are in a very pleasant campground, less than a mile from our friend C's place. Although we are used to living near the ocean, it is much damper here and seems to be foggier.
