Crocodile View

Sometimes it's necessary to return to catch the evening light.

Yesterday I was blipping from down in the beck to the left, led by the dog who walked me for a whole hour. Once he'd decided I'd had enough exercise he just took the most direct route home, finding all the right paths. His sense of direction is astounding. The only trouble is that at his level there is no obstruction to the little tracks he uses. At my height, I get a savage bashing in the face from all the bracken as he leads me through at a pace. It's a man's life.
