Too many options

The Commonwealth Games baton came to Porty today and it still wasn't the biggest thing happening. There was also an international men's volleyball tournament going on (the specific reason for the Queen's Baton to drop by), a sandcastle competition on the beach and, most important of all, the eighth Big Beach Busk. The buskers were already assembling at 10:30am when I went out with P and B to take some pics of them chalking up the prom with performance circles. So many people, playing and singing, as well as other groups running stalls selling cakes and handing out leaflets (like the Bellfield group, celebrating the imminent getting of the keys and the start of a crowdfunding effort to raise money for the next stage in the process). In the end I went for this Mexican woman looking more than a little like Frida Kahlo. Unfortunately they were just packing up so I didn't get to hear her sing, but she obliged with a picture before I took one of her and her friend on their camera. L had been up town to see couple of shows but she made it down for an hour or so, before a string broke on her guitar, slightly curtailing her singing in the sunshine. Glorious day.
