Two excellent nature reserves, fifty attempts to photograph insects. And what do I end up with? A Collared Dove.
But it was enjoyable nevertheless. The 270 mile journey was one of the easiest we have done even it was a bank holiday and the M6 was closed near junction 2 so we had to divert to the M1.
The two nature reserves were the National Trust's Wicken Fen and Fullborn Fen near Cambridge.
