Butterfly Festival

The garden Buddleia is at last earning its keep.

The main shot is a Painted Lady. These come over from France each year and have now reached Cumbria.

The extras which were all on the bush at the same time as the Painted Lady, are Small Tortoiseshell, Red Admiral and a rather fuzzy Hummingbird Hawkmoth.
