Dr Lisa Cameron MP

As a Rotarian Lisa Knew exactly what she was taking on when she agreed to address tonight's meeting of the Rotary Club of Strathaven

Trained as a doctor specialising in physciatric medicine and working at the sharp end in the NHS she only entered politics after the 2014 Scottish Referendum and first became an MP in 2015 following a chance opportunity to move into politics as a way of utilising her work experience and try to make a difference in the corridors of power

She is now on a number of Westminster health committees and chairs one.

A hard working constituency MP she puts herself about attending many local meetings and events.
