A cracking band!!

Friday at Shrewsbury Folk Festival and a beautiful sunny day for wandering around sampling all the sights and sounds. Most things happen on site in marquees and a couple of buildings and the campsite is conveniently on the same showground.

There are several concerts, ceilidh and sessions going on at the same time so I dip in and out of things to hear and see the acts that appeal.

This group was just amazing, they are Joe Broughton's Conservatoire Folk Ensemble made up of 50 members of Birmingham Conservatoire so all highly trained musicians. Great music, fun and very lively!  Here's a link to their music. The blip is from one of the songs as they had some great singers too.
