Abstract Thursday- surprise!

We thought we were heading to a two-school cross country meet...imagine our surprise when we saw rows and rows of schoolbuses lining the parking lot of the park!
This is the beginning of one of the many heats of races, and the number of runners looked like nothing but a blur as they thundered past us!!

Brody ran with the Varsity team (which is very cool because he is younger than all of them!) and achieved a personal best!  He was nearly a whole minute faster than his last race on this same course!!
