A day for sculpture

1. Nature's sculpture. Here is the seed head of Wild Carrot ( Daucus carota) one of my favourite architectural plants at this time of year.

2. Sculptures by humans. Here in extras is just a taste of the 250 outdoor sculptures on show at Mark Hall in Essex. A place I had never previously heard of and yet it has a huge estate, an arboretum and at the moment this brilliant display of sculpture most of which are for sale.
