Balcony View

Our little holiday flat is a bit of a beauty.  It's in a Hinterhof (there's a block of houses built around it, not that you feel overlooked with all these trees) and there are absolutely no cars.  We can hear birds and the rain, but nothing else.

The flat itself is a decent size with a lovely lounge and huge bedroom.  And we can be in the middle of the city in about 10 minutes on foot.

If the flat is near perfect, then the weather isn't.  Not as wet as I feared but nonetheless glad the brolly came with us.

Oh and with our typical timing, we've arrived on the day that Germany play an international football match - that means pretty much every pub is full to the gunnels. And on Monday, Germany play a home match.  Here in München.

Now, time to get back to enjoying that serenity.
