What a great day!

Temperatures of 18C +  and what better way to spend the day than having a picnic lunch on the beach with friends. I don't know when I last sat on a beach or paddled in the sea .... today I did both!

It's always hard to pack up and travel back to Glasgow when it's still warm and sunny but I wanted to be home in time to cut the grass before tomorrow's rain arrives.

As we drove over the Forth Bridge we could just make out some of the thousands of folk who were lucky enough to have a ticket allowing them to walk across the new Queensferry Bridge.
