Storms over The Trossachs

After the gale-force winds and rain of yesterday there is a strange calm about today.

I went up the road for a walk this afternoon to suss out damage. Fortunately there was nothing like a few weeks ago following that freak storm.

But two minor roads within half a mile of us are still closed , one through a landslide and another through a burst water pipe. Neither are likely to be repaired in the near future and it is as if nature is beginning to reclaim part of this Scottish landscape.

Dark clouds hang over Stuc a'Chroin and the Trossachs to the north while to the right you see Dunblane home of Andy Murray.
