Snail in Las Vegas??

I was out this morning watering and cleaning up potted plants. This snail must have come in with my "kangaroo paw" plant. It is much too hot here for them to survive and as you can see, this one didn't.

This is a five shot focus stack. I had to brush up on the technique as I will be helping kayakgirl (still learning the technique to include links....hope this works!) with this method at the end of the month when I go up to visit her. 

I am grateful for all the little things that keep popping up around me that beg to have their 15 minutes of fame on Blipfoto.

Just checked....it worked! Yay!!!
