THE SEAGULLS

There are at this moment so many gulls at the beach. Whole fields of them sitting in the sand, sleeping or just sunbathing. Others stand full of anticipation on the under water piers, some are floating in the water.
When humans or dogs come too near, they all fly away.
Piet Hein and I cycled to the beach and walked along the shore, in the morning. Perfect weather for it. The water is pleasant to enter, the waves just high enough.
So many persons enjoying this day, walking slowly, some running, some jogging.
The afternoon we were just lazy, reading a bit.
Mischa came to make cupcakes for a collegue, and we were given one to taste, and we loved it.
