Danish Fog

I think this might win the prize for "Most boring blip ever posted by DDW".  A day at sea as we travel between Iceland and the Faroe Islands (Denmark).  Thick fog is all around us, and quite heavy swells make for slow progress and not much of interest to see.  The fog horn sounds its mournful call every minute or so, and the rain drips down.  But we really can't complain -- we are sailing in the lap of luxury, we attended an interesting lecture on the Faroe Islands given by a Smithsonian naturalist earlier this morning, and also attended a cooking demonstration showing different methods of preparing fresh fish.  Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow, as we are scheduled to take a boat trip out to the sea cliffs at Vestmanna (outside of Torshavn).
