What a day! Beautiful sunshine, a walk with my camera, a chat with family and friends. What more do we need.

I was hoping someone might know this shrub. I love it and I must say I was attempting to capture a bee but the bee left and this fellow (a fly in my opinion) dropped in. My husband thinks it's a bee. Perhaps someone might have a name for the shrub and the insect. I apologise for my ignorance.
