A Motley Crew

Once upon a time, there were four farmyard (white) geese given their freedom on Kinghorn loch. They dreamed that one day the spirit in the sky would deliver unto them their own 'true loves'.
Their faith was rewarded with the arrival of a couple of wild greylags who immediately became enchanted with the white residents.  The farmyard geese were equally entranced by the worldly experience of the 'wild types'.

There could only be one outcome.  Nature has taken its course over the years giving rise to a flock of around 20 birds with a range of intermediate plumage.

A canada goose has now joined them so will there be a new hybrid generation next year? Will they all live happily ever after?
