Heron

We felt the need this afternoon to get out and get some fresh air.  We chose to visit St Albans and to walk in the park around the lake. 

It is always a pleasure to see a heron here:  they are such elegant birds.  I managed to position this one so that its head was framed by the reflection of trees in the background.
