Yet another new toy...

Today Amazon delivered a new macro lens to one of their lockers, which are conveniently located in our office reception.

This lens is rather different - it is a 35mm f/2.8 image stabilised lens with built in light (extra), which should help with those times when you want to get really close, but find your lens causing a shadow - and much cheaper/more convenient than a ring flash (if I even had one!)

I only had time for some quick shots this evening, and need more practise, but I'm quite pleased with the detail in one of my little 1/144th scale model houses.
