Firework season

... is coming to an end and the local 'sell everything' shop seems to be making a concerted effort to sell these with a HUGE display near the front door.

Random fireworks don't appear to be quite as noisy or as troublesome as in other places I have lived yet another reason to love Japan They can't really compete with the amazing organized shows which are a feature of the Japanese summer.
