Day trip to York

Will was given the choice of London, Cambridge or York for a much needed Mummy and Boo day. He obviously chose York.

On the suggestion of a friend we visited the York Chocolate Story. It was excellent and Will loved it. Lots to learn, plenty of opportunity to ask questions, chocolate to eat and to make.

After a wander down the Shambles we picked up the 'Cats of York's trail and found about nine of them before stomachs needed filling at Pizza Express.

The afternoon was spent at The Treasurer's House, a National Trust property near the Minster.

I had a lovely day, he had a lovely day. York was definitely a good choice.
