Playing with the bees

These carpenter bees have been all over the sedum for the past couple of days..at least 8 most of the time.   They were having a king of the mountain game going as I watched one flying very fast at another that was on a flower trying to get some pollen.   So I set up to try to get a photo..they are fast as lightning but finally one hovered before he made his move!   

Sending all the good vibes and prayers to Florida and the islands to keep friends and family safe from harm.   Being ready and waiting has got to be the hardest thing.
