Where am I ?

Started the day at home, having only arrived back there after 11.00 last night. Then I went to Oban to speak at the SAMS Graduation which was a wonderful, celebratory affair.

I left Oban at 3.40 for Edinburgh Airport and then flew to Stanstead ( for once I was grateful the flight was delayed by an hour).

We arrived at 9.45 and from there it was a half hour car journey to Downing College in Cambridge where tomorrow I will be attending the annual meeting of the British-Irish Association.

Even in the dark it is an impressive place. I look forward to seeing it in daylight !
