The whapper of Wahpeton!

We spent the day in Wahpeton  and kept bumping into or meeting friends of Dianne who asked how we knew each other! We have known each other since 1978 when she was housed at the reception/assessment centre I worked and lived in when she was in London on a voluntary programme from the USA.
It was lovely meeting some of her friends and the local people. We went to the museum, then onto the art gallery where there was an exhibition of local art and photos. They thought we had gone for the reception the were having but we actually went in to find clues to the things to find in a big mural outside. We did return after we found the things in the mural and it didn't take much persuading for us to have cheese and wine! Its no wonder I've put on pounds and my trousers feel tight! Next it was off to the park to a retirement do (cake this time). I met 2 amazing ladies June aged 98 and Harriet aged 90+. What a great pair, still driving and living in their own homes . By the end of today we were asked for our story 7 times!!!
