My Year in Pictures

Whoosh ...

Backblipped 10th September

... and they were gone!

So exciting though watching the Tour come through Bourton on the Water!

A busy day starting with another beef collection first thing (hurrah for smaller joints!) and then off into Cheltenham for Sushi School with good friends - completely amazing experience!

We finished a wee bit earlier than expected, so rather than go to the park to eat all the yummy things we made, we decided to head back and try and watch the Tour from Little Rissington - it's only 30 minutes walk across the fields and offers a few vantage points. Definitely a good decision - as soon as we got back to the car park the heavens opened!!!

The torrential rain made us rethink our plans and so we headed home to quickly get some wet weather gear on and then drove back into Bourton before the roads shut, parking up in a lay-by on the outskirts.

And then the sun come out!

Was fabulous watching all the cars and motorbikes ahead of the leaders and peloton and then couldn't believe how quickly it was all over!! Super exciting though!

Back home to our sushi feast and to watch the Tour arriving in Cheltenham in the rain!

Then the sun came out again for our dog walk (taking in a wee cheeky something on the way home!).

Then unfortunately the timings went a wee bit awry on the weather front and we had rain for our barbecue!

But we more than made up for it with several rounds of Dog Bingo and Bananagrams to round off a great day!
