Ezinge, but not in the mist.

Beep!! beep!! beep!! at 4.30 am this morning.
It's day already! I'm picking up Ron for a proper landscape photoshoot at 05.15 am, so have to get out of bed now. No problem!!

Yesterday we agreed to do an 'early bird' because foggy, misty  circumstances were predicted. A very suitable location with those conditions is the small village Ezinge, about 30-35 kilometers from our homes.
But when I drove to Ron's house I saw no mist at all but instead I felt a strong wind and saw a clear sky with not even a cloud in it. Hmm... that's 2 points behind already and we didn't even start yet.

Around 05.45 we arrived in a very silent and dark Ezinge. We came there via a very narrow route through the fields that made us think of similar roads in the UK's Lake District. The only difference was that where there are brick walls in the UK, we have waist high weeds and grasses.

Anyway, no mist in Ezinge either. A clear sky with a clear moon was what we had to deal with. We walked the path around the village and started to expose. For nearly 2 hours we did our thing and then we came back to the car where we had tea and a Jelle.

All and all we were back at home again around 09.00 am. When we drove into the street near Ron's house we saw a guy with a long coat and sunglasses bending over halfway in a ditch, looking at us in shock and awe. He probably had a bit of a rough night..

It was nice to be out there again Ron, we should pick up that habit again.. it's been too long.
