A changeable sky

Today we had a variety of weather, starting with clear blue skies and later rain clouds came and went, even bringing some thunder in places.  I took this shot from the car - yes I WAS the passenger - on the M25 as daughter #2 and I returned from a shopping expedition at Lakeside.  You can see from this shot how localised the rain was.
 
Although this looks dramatic , partly because I've faffed with this phone pic, really it represents nothing like  the fury that Hurricane Irma  has unleashed  on the Caribbean and progresses today towards Florida. Thinking of those who's lives have been devastated by what has been described as the most catastrophic storm ever.
