Bridge the Gap

Today we took part in the annual walk through Cambridge which allows access to some of the areas of the colleges that are usually only accessible to the students and fellows. It's a charity walk well sponsored by local businesses. This is the second time I've done it (before in 2012) and it was a different route and took in some colleges I hadn't visited before : Downing , St Catharines, St Johns, Jesus , Christ's and Emmanuel. What I enjoy is the feeling of tranquility and gentility yet you are only yards away from the city bustle. The students are very privileged.This is a sculpture in the gardens of Emmanuel.
