A slice of Lesley's life

Celebratory Weekend

I know we had one last weekend (and there's actually another on the cards for next week) but it's not every week SooB and family are in town. And the kids have good first weeks at school.

Ironically they weren't there as one was at home with a poorly tummy and one was off bouldering with all the other kids in deepest darkest SE London. But we celebrated Sunday afternoon well regardless. A partly slow start to the morning and a later timing for our dog walk which seemed to mean that we met every dog in W4. And a backdrop of organising said bouldering trip and lunch plans. Which were mainly sorted by MrB providing all the adults and the too young to boulder kid with an absolutely splendid feast. And, as you can see here, MrK*, did a splendid job of keeping the glasses charged.

Regrouped back home for some light homework including Anna creating a geography quiz that Jackson enjoyed so much he paid her to create another.

So here's to a good past week and starting another week with hope and optimism.
