Brave Blue World

By OlliEcological

Summer ends and Autumn comes.

"... and he who would have it otherwise would have high tide always and a full moon every night."

A delightful and unplanned five miles along the Gloucester Sharpness Canal this evening, from Slimbridge to Purton and back in weather that despite my earnest efforts to insist otherwise was most certainly "very late summer" if not yet the A-word. I ate a good half-pound of brambles noted a few terrific blackthorns absolutely wheezing with sloes and gazed awestruck as chevrons of honking geese wheeled about in the breeze.

Magical.
