Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Sunday Afternoon

Posting this particular photo because:
1.the sky is BLUE and clear after weeks of hazy smoke or clouds!
2.I like the houses in this central area part of town
3.this art was very colorful.
4. Friend Mike was almost cut off (I thought she was actually but really liked her outfit .....so.)
5. H and T are ahead of us walking
6. This records that we 4 went to “An American Dream” at nearby historic Washington Hall.  commissioned  by Seattle Opera’s Education and Commiunity Engagement department…Set during WWll in our area about  Japanese Americans forced to leave their home for an internment camp and a Jewish immigrant worried about family in Germany. ……very historical and not a subject anyone could be proud about, (lots of currant connections, I think)…)  and the Japanese Americans(citizens!) were made to register in this Washington Hall.. ( illegal!).
But it was so loud I had to come home to some quiet. :-)
