Cher petit oreiller

Marceline Desbordes-Valmore (1786–†1859)

This was a poem that my father taught me when I was a young child.  So became one of my favourite poems.

Many thanks to Sk for hosting Mono Monday- favourite poem.

(Dear little pillow, soft and warm beneath my head.
Full of feathers, chosen and white and made for me.
When you are scared of the wind, the wolves and the storm,
Dear little pillow, how well I sleep on you! )
