Rain and shine

Such changeable weather today, but I've learned that the light in between rain and sunshine can be magical... so we strode out late this afternoon for a dog walk in a sunny patch.

But the timing was a little off, 7 minutes after I took this photo Anna and I were soaked to the skin by torrential rain.  It was as if a waterfall of water had been tipped on us and I had to change out of every item of clothing I'd been wearing when I got home.

The dog was unconcerned and happily soggy.
