Mwnt Church

After a night at a certified site just outside of Cardigan last night we checked out the OS map and decided to head up to the coast. Mwnt was our destination as we'd read about the little 13th century church perched on the headland.

What a gorgeous place to visit and walk with its secluded sandy beach and coastal path with views to die for!

Despite the really strong winds we walked about four miles which was plenty enough for my weary hips despite using my sticks.

We've found a great site - which is empty! - just inland a bit and have decided to stay awhile as there are quite a few things we want to go and see in and around this area.

Tomorrow there's a local market at St Dogmaels so that's our first stop. Fingers crossed the wind continues to keep the rain away.
