Enjoying Cardigan in Wales

Well we liked it so much round here we decided to stay a few more days. We've found a great little site that is empty and the facilities are excellent. These certified sites are small, usually around five or six pitches only, and can vary from very basic to basic!

Today we went to St Dogmaels local produce market set beneath the ruins of the 12th century Abbey. The setting was spectacular and the produce very tasty indeed! We bought bread, eggs, cheese, cider, dog biscuits and cake, all made within a twenty mile radius of the town.

Tonight there are gale force winds forecast so the farmer has let us park up in the lee of the farm buildings in the farm yard. We are already being buffeted about but we have battened down the hatches so hopefully we'll see you on the other side!!
