A Baker's Dozen....

....of double crested cormorants! The other day I saw two of them, and today while I was up on the bluffs above the lake I happened to look out over the old breakers, and there they were! I've shown these 13, but I counted 27 all told. I've never seen so many of them, and am wondering if they're migrating through to somewhere further South......perhaps someone should tell them they're better off staying in Wisconsin! :)
What a treat that we could stay close to home today--no chemo, no lab draws, no doctors........makes you appreciate the small things in life!
