Pansies....no way!!

No you're not seeing things. There is actually a punnet of pansies in amongst a whole bunch of other little plants. CCN and I have decided it's time for a bit of extra colour at Wombat Hollow and the only place we can safely plant little flowers like Pansies and Marigolds and Daisies is in the veggie patch. Soooo, we've been doing a bit of rearranging and we are going to dedicate half of the patch to flowers and the other half to our green leaf veggies. We believe Marigolds are great for keeping the bugs away from your lettuce etc so they've got a guernsey as well.

It's been another pretty windy and chilly day in the mountains today but from all accounts the winds are going to ease back over the weekend and we might be in for some slightly warmer weather next week.

Thanks again to Biker Bear for hosting this long running and ever popular challenge that is, Flower Friday. I think it's arguably the most colourful challenge of them all and saves our blip bacon on many occasions :-)
