A walk in the woods

We went for a short walk down at Sutherland's Grove this afternoon as the sun seemed likely to keep shining! This Forestry Commission property is just north of Barcaldine (itself north of Oban) and is well worth a visit. There are some amazing Douglas Fir there - huge trees - and the rushing Abhainn Teithil Burn, which has carved its way down a small gorge, is a beautiful sight.

Years since I've been and we were lucky to see it in the sunshine. Not very happy to be using my Sony bridge camera though - the Nikon still won't work properly!
