Rainbow Bright

An impromptu visit to Trentham Gardens after work as the weather was good. I thought there was a runner going by as I walked round the lake but then realised it was a friend of mine who was trying to catch me up!

We though we might make it round before the inevitable shower descended, but we were wrong. In spite of waterproof jackets, we sheltered under the trees at this spot at the far end of the lake near the weir. We watched this double rainbow increase in intensity as we waited for the shower to pass.

The rest of the walk was rain free.
