Where the Light Gets In

It was good to meet again with the choir group. We'll have several occasions to perform in the next few months. A nighttime parade in October, the annual Elders' Lunch in November, and of course the usual Christmas Concert in, you guessed it, December.

We will now be rehearsing in a new room at the music school. We started with our "hit", Tebe Poem, then started working on a new piece, Rameau's Hymne à la nuit. Then we went on to rehearse our jazz/gospel programme. In one of the gospels, Glory glory (Since I laid my burden down), our choirmaster decided that the verse that is usually sung solo by a soprano would be sung by a bass... and she chose me! :-)

Extra: the exhibition whose hanging I blipped for Thursday, with visitor(s).
