Crossing the river to............

...........get to the surf.
This image is of the Carbanup River reaching the Indian Ocean. It is still flowing quite strongly to the sea and the water is freezing!! The surfers have to cross the river now to head up the beach to the better breaks. 
We had a great walk up to the second break this morning. Teeshirts and hats. This afternoon it was cloudy and then rain. 
We had the littlest munchkins from about 11:00am until 7:00 as mum is now sick with the flu as well. I just hope we have managed to dodge the bugs! 
We also had some people drop in this afternoon, stay for afternoon tea (I baked scones), drinks and then dinner!! Blimey - I'm knackered..........

Ive added an extra of our surfer between a rock and a hard place!

Our visitors left 30 minutes ago and now I'm off to bed. Night all :)
