Color Arch--Venice

We're looking under the bridge from which I took yesterday's blip.  It's a smaller slice of the same view, from further away.  I captured that image at 12:30 with sun; today's is at 17:20 under clouds. There's a gondola in each, with a different gondolier (their shirts are red-striped and black-striped :)

The spot is a minute's walk from the entrance to our building.  The area is rich with pictorial perspectives, not atypical of Venice.  It is a magical city, and we are enjoying every minute of our seventh visit.

The objectives on our afternoon outing were two churches:  San Polo, and San Stae (pronounced San Sty).  I've marked the map at the precise spot where I was sitting today, on steps leading down to the water.
