Day 2

A project was decided on.
The first of two or three as it turned out.
Gates & Posts was the first choice.
But saying that, this is the only one you get today!

Morning started off dry with just the summit of Suilven (I think) hidden by cloud.
That didn't last though and the squalls started blowing through.
But that didn't stop anyone going out to take pictures.
After breakfast Chicken Lady and I went down to Sheigra Beach where there was a super collection of colours in the seaweed and a wind that blew down our attempt at stone stacking before we could get it any higher.

Early afternoon we went down to Droman Pier where I got a shot of 5 faces in the cliff (how many can you see?) before the lighting got a bit more dramatic.

Luckily the massive storm that blew through stayed a bit south of use - but it was really impressive to watch it eat up the country and it moved through.
 
Later on in the afternoon a massive rainbow was released from Castors' (yes - she carries them around with her) and she set off in bright sunshine and pouring rain to catch a setset.
She missed!

With no internet, phone or TV it was an oppertunity for some tomfoolery and our resident Viking played at pirates - despite having to improvise the eye-patch.
