1940s weekend

G, M and I went in to Sheringham today for the 1940s weekend festivities. G and M were dressed up appropriate to the era and looked fantastic as you can see. I stuck to photography!!! We walked into town and got the free vintage bus to the station, then took the steam train to Sheringham. The engine was the Black Prince which is fabulous - you can see a photo in Extras. It was very crowded in Sheringham, but we did manage to find a cafe off the beaten track for tea and cake. We bumped into several photographers we knew, which was lovely. There was a lot of charity fundraising for the charity Walking With The Wounded, including a VE Day celebration tableau as in Extras. A lovely event which everyone seems to enjoy and which brings business to the area and raises money for charity - what more could you ask for.
