Yeah right!

As any good kiwi knows, rugby is where life begins and ends - to the extent that they even play it on the beach with makeshift driftwood goal posts (if you look really hard you can see the posts off in the distance).

We arrived at Pohara today, unpacked the car then headed back to Takaka for groceries. We couldn't fit them in the boot on the way here - you'd be surprised by just how much junk two women can pack for 5 nights away! Whilst in Takaka it was, of course, necessary to go to Soul (a wonderful shoe shop) and buy a pair of crocs jandals - at least we each managed to only buy them and not more shoes.

This afternoon we took a 5km walk and then we sat around and recuperated. The holiday is going exactly to plan so far!

NB: Odds are that only kiwis will understand my title.
