West Beach, North Berwick

Another trip to East Lothian to spend a night with my friends Dave and Maria.

Dave is great company, an entrepreneur with no affectations, a typical scottish wit, a living invitation to stray from the path of righteousness and a liver of life to the full.

He is married (as am I) to a Catalan angel, a woman whose patience is legendary and tolerance levels higher than any one I have ever met. It is debatable if this is a good thing as there is always the temptation to push the envelope.

To clear the head a walk along a deserted beach, stiff chilly breeze but great views and so nice to have the expanse of sand shared only with a couple of labs and a spaniel.

Cobwebs banished.
