Patet Omnibus

The entrance to the old Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Most of the entrance is a mess of building materials, but I managed to get this photo of the old entrance. It was quite sunny when I took it. Still being redeveloped as Quartermile. Obviously, all the old non listed buildings were demolished and new buildings put up first before they start work on renovating the listed buildings.

These buildings will form part of the University of Edinburgh "The Edinburgh Futures Institute".

The extra shows Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags as viewed down East Crosscauseway. Quite a few people on top. It doesn't make it safe. There was a report on the evening news that a person had fallen 40ft down Arthur's Seat, and has to be helicoptered to hospital. Not surprised, there were some heavy showers, which can make the rocks quite slippery.
