FREMANTLE'S

......version of "Leda and the Swan" (written on the plaque), perhaps.  The plaque also states "A small drama is played out on the riverbank".
There are half a dozen of these sculpturelike pieces on the wharf in front of the E Shed Markets in Fremantle.  They are a delight to view and read the plaques.  Some of them are only relevant to Western Australians, as in the sculpture featured in the Extra (A Quokka Goes for an Eagle - A quokka plays golf on Rottnest Island).  Rottnest Island is approximately 20kms off the coast of Western Australia and Quokkas are a small marsupial found on the island.   A great place for family holidays by the way.

Thank you to all who starred my blip for yesterday's challenge - Relative.

A cloudy but warm day today.  I'm hoping to take my sister in law to Kings Park in the next couple of days to see the wildflowers but rain is forecast for the remainder of the week.
